Neighborhood Park & Maps

Westhaven Trails is a planned residential neighborhood with over 20 acres of private parks, open spaces and woodland preserves.  Connecting all of these beautiful spaces is over 1.55 mile trail system that allows you to enjoy nature right in your back yard.  Please visit the park entrance located at MuirField Rd. and Cimarron Trail for an overview of our neighborhood parks and trails.

Volunteering In the Parks

With over 20 acres of private parks, open green spaces and woodland preserves we have many opportunities for volunteers to help maintain these areas.

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer to maintain the parks, please first complete a Volunteer Liability Waiver and e-mail it to Parks@WesthavenTrails.org.

Please note, only individuals that have a Volunteer Liability Waiver on file with the Parks Director can perform work on association property.  Volunteers must work under the supervision of the Parks Committee Chair and are able to perform general park cleanup of trash, trim shrubs, rake leaves, replace mulch, pull weeds, etc.   Volunteers are not allowed to use gas powered equipment such as chainsaws or cut and remove trees within the association.  If you see a tree needing to be pruned or that is dead and should be removed, please contact the Parks Director at Parks@WesthavenTrails.org.

Linked here is a Volunteer Maintenance List where you can add landscaping work/tasks you feel are needed.  Likewise, this is a list of landscaping tasks/items you can chose from to complete.

If you're interested getting even more involved with the Parks, we're always looking for volunteers to server on our Parks Committee.  This committee works closely with the Parks Director and and Board and assists in (1) identifing  park maintenance needs, (2) prioritizing those needs, (3) and then help work on those needs. Working on those needs may mean actually volunteering time to work in the parks and/or it maybe just helping organize and plan for vendors that perform projects in the park.  If you're interested, please e-mail Parks@WesthavenTrails.org.

TruGreen Service:

Our association utilizes TruGreen lawn treatments to prevent weeds before they grow, reduce weeds as they appear, foster a healthier lawn, and contribute to reducing allergens/pollen in the parks and green spaces.
